Campus update

Sunshine, Smiles & School Adventures

We’ve had a lot going on across both sites as we head towards the summer break. It’s been lovely to see our learners taking part in so many rich and exciting experiences.

Our learners have been making the most of opportunities to get out and about in the community.

Reception and Key Stage 1 have enjoyed recent visits to the zoo. It was wonderful to see their excitement as they spotted the animals they’ve been learning about in class.

Year 3 and 4 have been growing in confidence through their community visits. They’ve explored the local park and travelled by bus to Springfield, showing increasing independence as they walk to the bus stop and identify the right bus by number. These everyday skills are a big step, and it’s been brilliant to see their progress.

Our Year 5 and 6 learners have been walking to the local library each week, using their own library cards to choose books to take home or back to school. They also make a regular trip to swimming, and we often hear them chatting proudly about their achievements on the way back.

Looking ahead to the final weeks of term, we’ve got plenty to look forward to.

At Dysons Road:

  • Sports Day takes place on Wednesday 9th July
  • Year 4 Graduation is on Friday 18th July at 2pm
  • Our Summer Concert will round off the term

At Springfield:

  • Year 6 learners are preparing for their sleepover on Thursday 10th July
  • Sports Day will take place on Friday 11th July
  • We’ll end the term with the Year 6 Graduation and Year 5 Summer Concert on Monday 14th July at 2pm

Finally, a reminder that the last day of term is Tuesday 22nd July, and we will close early at 12.30pm.
