A Snowy but Super Start to the New Term

Snow, ice, and rain have marked the start of the new term, but it hasn’t slowed us down. Whatever the weather, our children have been outdoors with big smiles and even bigger curiosity.

From exploring freshly fallen snow to getting hands-on with icy, slippy textures during messy play, the children have been learning about winter in exciting and meaningful ways. We’ve enjoyed great conversations about cold surfaces, melting, and all things frosty.

Staff have also been using task planners and PODD boards to introduce new weather vocabulary, giving learners more ways to communicate what they see, feel, and experience outdoors.

Here’s to a magical, snowy start to the term, filled with learning, laughter, and winter wonder.
