African Drumming Brings Learning to Life for Key Stage 1
This week, our Key Stage 1 learners enjoyed a fun, hands-on experience. We were delighted to welcome a special visitor, an African drummer Kay, who led an exciting and interactive African drumming workshop.
Every class took part and explored rhythm, sound, and songs. The sessions encouraged children to join in, be creative, and feel confident. All children were able to take part in their own way. They loved playing the drums, wearing traditional African clothing, dancing, and singing. The sound and vibrations from the drums were loud and exciting.
A big thank you to Kay for such a brilliant day and well done to our children for their enthusiasm and enjoyment.
