Smooth Transitions into New Classes

This week has been full of excitement as our learners began spending time in their new classes for September. Each Thursday, they move across for a special “stay and play” session, giving them the chance to explore their new environment and get to know their teachers and friends.

We are so proud of how well they are managing this big change. They are showing confidence, curiosity, and resilience as they try something new. To support them, we have been using social stories, visual prompts, and their favourite toys and motivators to help each learner feel safe, calm, and ready to engage.

It has been wonderful to see so many smiles, new friendships forming, and children embracing new experiences so positively this half term. Thank you for your continued support—it truly helps make these transitions smooth and enjoyable for everyone.
